ASTM A334 Seamless Carbon and Alloy Steel Tubes
Our ASTM A334 seamless carbon and alloy steel tubes are manufactured in accordance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standard A334, which specifies the requirements for seamless carbon and alloy steel tubes for low-temperature service. These tubes are designed to provide excellent strength, toughness, and resistance to brittle fracture in cryogenic environments. The seamless construction ensures that our tubes have a consistent wall thickness and internal diameter, making them suitable for use in demanding applications such as liquefied gas storage tanks, cryogenic piping systems, and low-temperature processing facilities. Our ASTM A334 seamless carbon and alloy steel tubes are available in Grades 1, 3, 6, and 8, each with its own specific composition and mechanical properties. The impact test temperature for each grade is as follows: Grade 1 and Grade 6 have a minimum impact test temperature of -45°C, Grade 3 has a minimum impact test temperature of -100°C, and Grade 8 has a minimum impact test temperature of -195°C. With their high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent toughness at low temperatures, and resistance to cracking and brittle fracture, our ASTM A334 seamless carbon and alloy steel tubes are an ideal choice for applications where extremely low temperatures prevail.
